ABOUT
Florian Seltmann is a German filmmaker, born in 1996 near Berlin, whose work explores environmental issues through compelling storytelling. He discovered his passion for filmmaking at a young age, initially creating travel and lifestyle films. However, his perspective shifted as he confronted the pressing environmental challenges facing our planet, inspiring him to convey deeper, more meaningful emotions through his work.
Over the years, Seltmann has dedicated himself to producing impactful films that raise awareness and inspire action for environmental protection. As he puts it, his mission is to “protect the very essence of life.” His commitment to ocean conservation deepened after obtaining his advanced diving certification, giving him firsthand insight into the fragility of marine ecosystems.

Today, Seltmann is expanding his artistic range by focusing not only on filmmaking but also on acting. By combining his experience behind the camera with on-screen performance, he aims to convey his environmental messages with even greater emotional impact. His work blends visual storytelling, emotional resonance, and personal presence, inspiring audiences to engage with and protect the natural world.

"I don't create films for financial gain; I make them to share my perspective on life. Passion is often intertwined with suffering and recurring doubts, but filmmaking helps me process complex emotions and reflect on them. Through my work, I aim to inspire others, broaden my own perspective, and explore the underlying impact of what society considers normal."
